| Can you send me a portfolio or some printed samples?
Yes, we'd be happy to, but first contact us to let us know what you're looking for. We can either send the artist's bound portfolio, which will need to be returned to us within one week, or we can send a custom selection of samples that you may keep for your files.
|
| How do I commission an illustration?
You may either contact us by phone, or you can supply us with information about your project via our estimate form and we will contact you.
|
| Do you have a list of your artists' fees?
No, we don't. There are so many variables in assigning illustration that a comprehensive price list just isn't feasible. However, if you contact us with the details of your project, or send them to us via our estimate form, we will be able to tell you what the fee would be.
|
| Can I buy rights to any of the art on your website?
Yes, secondary reproduction rights are available for some of the images. Please contact us to ask us about any specific image.

| Are you looking for more artists?
We are not actively seeking more artists at this time. But we are always interested in seeing work by talented artists, particularly if their work is appropriate for children's books. We are most interested in artists with a strong personal style and we are only interested in artists who are dedicated to their success as an illustrator. Either printed samples (with SASE) or electronic samples may be sent. For information on where to send them, please see our contact page.

| Do you review manuscripts?
As artists representatives, we only handle manuscripts if they are manuscripts written by illustrators whom we represent. Otherwise you should submit your manuscript to a literary agent or directly to publishers. For further information contact SCBWI, the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators.
