Originally a student of political science, French-Canadian artist Rémy Simard began his career as an illustrator in 1980. Working from Montreal, he creates computer-generated illustration for a large variety of clients including Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, Federal Express, General Motors, Citibank, Fidelity Communications, Better Homes & Gardens, Book-of-the-Month Club, McGraw-Hill and Scott Foresman, in the U.S.; and Chrysler, Nissan, Banque Nationale de Paris, Cantel, Ville de Montreal and YTV in Canada. He has also written and illustrated several children's' books, including Monsieur Noir et Blanc, a finalist for Canada's Governor's Prize. To relax after all this work, he likes to race around on his motocyclette!
