Jake Rich is an Illustrator based in Massachusetts and has been drawing since he could properly wield the tools necessary to do so. From a young age his creativity was fueled by the many cartoons, animated movies and video games of his childhood, leading him to cultivate his passion for creating art. Over the years, he’s developed his skills in an effort to breathe life into the world in the form of lines, shapes and colors. In 2015, Jake earned his B.F.A. of illustration and set out into the world of professional illustration. That same year, he became a father to one incredible kid and he seeks now to empower young imaginations and early readers through art. As a parent and very silly uncle, Jake is inspired most of all by his son, nieces, and nephews when creating illustrations. His first published illustrated book was completed in 2024, entitled “When the World Slowed Down” and he has since illustrated two other children’s books. Currently, his work focuses on children’s education and he remains quite excited about future projects!
